DetroitMusic.TV was formed in 2008 to showcase the best of Metro Detroit’s musicians. Functioning as part of the 1440 Collective Studio, our aim is to seek out and film live events in the area with exemplary quality. All of our video is recorded in high definition to ensure the utmost visual experience.
Our video team is currently headed by Drew Parfitt of Slickfire, LLC. We use Canon’s VIXIA HF10 cameras with a variety of specialized attachments to establish a level craftmanship that is unrivaled. For the time being we use Vimeo as our hosting service due to their superiority over other video sites.
We currently record these shows free of charge and can manage a single song or a full day’s festival.
